Apple Raisen Oatmeal Cookies

* 1 1/4 cups sugar
* 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
* 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
* 6 tablespoons stick butter or margarine, softened
* 1 egg
* 1/3 cup 2% milk
* 2 teaspoons vanilla
* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1 1/2 cups quick or old-fashioned oats, uncooked
* 1 cup raisens

1. Combine sugar, applesauce, brown sugar, butter, egg, milk and vanilla. Mix with electric mixer until well blended. Stir in combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Gradually mix in oats and raisens until well combined.

2. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto baking sheets sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake in preheated 350 degrees F oven 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from baking sheet and cool completely on wire rack.

Lazy Days Oatmeal Raisen Cookies

* 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 3/4 cups rolled oats
* 1 cup white sugar
* 1/2 cup raisins
* 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
* 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
* 1/2 cup melted shortening
* 1/2 cup melted butter
* 1 egg
* 1/4 cup milk
* 1 tablespoon molasses

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In large bowl stir together flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Stir in remaining ingredients.
3. Drop by teaspoon 1-1/2 inches apart on ungreased sheets (Make the cookies small). Bake for 12 minutes or until brown.

Chocolate Oatmeal Raisen Cookies

* 1 cup butter, softened
* 1 cup packed brown sugar
* 1/2 cup white sugar
* 2 eggs
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 3 cups rolled oats
* 1 cup raisins

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. Beat butter or margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in oats and raisins, mix well.

3. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, until cookies are almost set. Do not overbake. Cool 1 minute on cookies sheets, then move to wire racks. Cool - store tightly covered.

Oatmeal Craisen Cookies

* 1 cup butter, softened
* 1 cup packed brown sugar
* 1 cup white sugar
* 2 eggs
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 cups quick cooking oats
* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup raisins
* 1 cup dried cranberries

1. Beat butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla for 5 minutes. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add to butter mixture 1 cup at a time.

2. Mix in raisins and craisins.

3. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets and bake for 12-14 minutes at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). These freeze very well. Enjoy!!

Oatmeal Raisen Peanut Butter Banana

* 1 banana, peeled and mashed
* 1 cup peanut butter
* 1/2 cup white sugar
* 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
* 2 egg whites
* 2 cups whole wheat flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1 cup rolled oats
* 1 cup raisins

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).

2. In a medium bowl, stir together mashed banana, peanut butter, white sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Then mix in the egg whites. Add flour and baking soda, mix until just blended, then stir in the rolled oats and raisins.

3. Drop cookie dough by heaping spoonfuls onto an unprepared cookie sheet. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven. When cookies are done, remove from the baking sheet and cool on wire racks.

Spicy Oatmeal Raisen Cookies

* 1/2 cup butter, softened
* 1/2 cup butter flavored shortening
* 1 cup packed light brown sugar
* 1/2 cup white sugar
* 2 eggs
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 3 cups rolled oats
* 1 cup raisens

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, butter flavored shortening, brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt; stir into the sugar mixture. Stir in the oats and raisens. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until light and golden. Do not overbake. Let them cool for 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheets to cool completely. Store in airtight container. Make sure you get some, because they don't last long!

The Best Oatmeal Raisen Cookies

* 1 cup margarine
* 1 cup packed brown sugar
* 1/2 cup white sugar
* 2 eggs
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 2 1/2 cups rolled oats
* 1 cup raisens
* 1 cup chopped walnuts

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the margarine, white sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy .Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon, stir into the creamed mixture. Fold in the oatmeal, raisins and walnuts. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheet.
3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

Zero Eggs Oatmeal Raisen Cookies

* 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
* 1/4 cup white sugar
* 3/4 cup applesauce
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1 cup rolled oats
* 1/2 cup raisins
* 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F ( 175 degrees C ). Grease a cookie sheet.
2. In a medium bowl, stir together the brown sugar, white sugar, and applesauce. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon; stir into the applesauce mixture. Add the rolled oats, raisins and chopped nuts (if desired); stir until combined.

Oatmeal Pudding Raisen Cookies

* 1 cup butter flavored shortening
* 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
* 1/4 cup white sugar
* 1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
* 2 eggs
* 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 3 1/2 cups rolled oats
* 1 cup raisins (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, cream together shortening, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Blend in instant pudding, then beat in eggs until the batter is light and fluffy. Combine flour and baking soda; mix into the batter. Stir in oats and raisins. Dough will be stiff. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets.

Zucchini Oatmeal Cookies

* 1/2 cup shortening
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 3/4 cup honey
* 1 egg
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1 pinch salt
* 1 cup rolled oats
* 1/2 cup chopped pecans
* 1/2 cup grated zucchini
* 1/2 cup raisins

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the shortening, vanilla, and honey. Beat in the egg until well blended. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; stir into the honey mixture. Stir in the rolled oats, zucchini, pecans and raisins. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet, and flatten slightly using a fork.
3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until browned. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on a wire rack.
